Audio-Technica has unveiled its new limited edition headphones: the ATH-WP900SE. Designed for listeners who appreciate both artistry and performance, the ATH‑WP900SE takes inspiration from the world of guitars, featuring a three‑tone sunburst lacquer finish that plays homage to classic instruments.
Inspired by the ATH-WP900, each pair is crafted meticulously in collaboration with Japanese guitar manufacturer Fujigen, ensuring every detail – from wood selection to the final finish – meets the standards of quality and visual depth associated with both brands.
At the heart of the headphones is a newly designed 53mm driver paired with an advanced voice coil, engineered to enhance linearity and deliver high-resolution sound across the entire frequency range.
Balancing premium sound with everyday usability, the ATH‑WP900SE remains lightweight and portable, reportedly making them ideal for enjoying authentic, high-fidelity audio on the move.
The headphones use Audio-Technica’s A2DC detachable connectors, ensuring stable transmission and minimal noise. The dual ended cables award enhanced sound separation between the left and right channels, with both balanced 4.4 mm and standard 3.5 mm versions supplied as standard.
Each limited-edition model includes a dedicated Fujigen cleaning cloth designed specifically for lacquered finishes, along with a handwritten serial number card, making every unit a unique collector’s piece.
The ATH-WP900SE will be available for £599 / €699 from the 11th June 2026.
