Prove your humanity

Acer has launched its new Predator Orion 7000 (PO7-660) gaming desktop in the UK, designed to elevate the user experience for both gamers and creators. Powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPU, the Predator Orion 7000 is an AI PC at its core.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 processor delivers ultra-smooth gameplay and improved streaming by intelligently managing tasks. This means less lag and more seamless experiences for competitive gamers and streamers.

Crucially, it can offload AI tasks, enhancing performance even on classic titles with Intel Application Optimisation, allowing users to revisit their favourites with a fresh performance boost.

The NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and GeForce RTX 50 Series GPU bring AI capabilities to the forefront. This translates into multiplied performance with NVIDIA DLSS 4, enabling users to generate images at speed. For gamers, this means higher frame rates and more immersive, realistic visuals thanks to AI-driven rendering.

Powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, the GeForce RTX 50 Series GPU enables full ray tracing for realistic lighting and shadows.

Overheating is a major concern for high-performance systems, but the Predator Orion 7000 tackles this with its patented Predator CycloneX 360 cooling system. This 360mm CPU liquid cooling solution significantly elevates cooling performance, ensuring the rig stays cool even during the most intense gaming sessions.

This translates to stable, reliable gaming without thermal throttling, preventing performance drops and ensuring consistent peak performance. The system boosts cooling efficiency by 15% and lowers motherboard power component temperatures by 9∘C, leading to a more reliable and longer-lasting system.

With Wi-Fi 7 and Thunderbolt 4, users can enjoy lag-free gaming and rapid streaming, keeping them in the action without interruptions or delays. Thunderbolt 4 also simplifies setups by offering a single port capable of connecting all peripherals, including cameras, monitors and storage drives.

The Acer Intelligence Space acts as a smart hub, automatically identifying system hardware and recommending compatible AI applications. This helps users optimise performance, enhance gaming experiences and discover new tools, streamlining their workflow.

Complementing this, the PredatorSense 4.0 utility app provides a centralised and user-friendly interface to manage the system, allowing for easy overclocking, customisable ARGB lighting, specific fan speed control and device monitoring. This puts ultimate control in the hands of the user, enabling them to fine-tune their PC for any scenario.

“The Predator Orion 7000 is more than just a gaming desktop; it’s a platform built to empower users with the latest technological advancements,” says Dat Vay Yau, Desktop Business Manager at Acer UK. “We’ve focused on integrating features that directly benefit performance, creativity, and user control, ensuring that every minute spent with the Orion 7000 is optimised for peak experience.”

The Acer Predator Orion 7000 (PO7-660) is available in the UK for £3,299.99.
