Origin Acoustics Reacts To Its CEDIA Award

Origin Acoustics is still reeling from its 2016 CEDIA Award, with the company nabbing the Best Innovative Product category for its Director Collection of in-ceiling speakers.

CEDIA EMEA held its coveted awards ceremony on July 1 with heavyweights from across the industry attending the event at London’s Guildhall. It was not plain sailing for Origin Acoustics however, with the company going up against more than 200 entries from over 18 countries.

Origin Acoustics’ reference Director Collection with Advanced Sonic Design managed to fend off the competition however, with the company boasting about how it improves the way users experience sound – The Sound, The Look and The Finish.

The original Origin Acoustic team worked for over 40 years to perfect the art of sound reproduction with numerous inventions and patents including the Zip-Clip Tool-Less Installation System and DPSDTM Tweeter found throughout its flagship lineup of in-ceiling speakers. The Director Collection’s performance is a direct result of their passion and commitment.

Origin Acoustics exclusive distributor Invision UK also won for Best UK Trade Supplier, an award it also nabbed at the recent Smart Building Awards 2016, and Best Training Initiatives which encompasses the Origin vision of focusing on service, training and integrator support.
