Daniel J SaitHero Labs has announced its partnership with OneAV to distribute Sonic, a smart water monitor with integrated shut-off. The partnership will see OneAV offer its network of installers comprehensive training for Sonic, which will be delivered in-person or via the company’s online webinar platform.
OneAV will be providing its network of CI dealers access to Sonic, which was recently awarded a highly commended accolade at the CEDIA awards. Sonic uses ultrasonic technology to monitor water usage within a property, detect leaks and shut-off water through an integrated ball valve.
Perfect for conscious consumers and those who enjoy peace of mind, Sonic uses advanced AI algorithms to understand the water-usage habits of users, tracking the difference between normal water use and harmful water leaks. Sonic is fitted directly to the properties water main (immediately after the stopcock) and can detect even minute flows of water and identify appliances connected to the plumbing network.
Integrating Sonic into a full home control system is made easy thanks to an open API architecture and Control4 SDDP built-in.
