OneAV has announced a new partnership with Cel-Fi, a brand solving dropped calls, poor voice quality and low data throughput caused by a weak cellular signal.
James Trumper, OneAV’s director comments, “Network coverage problems are something everyone has experienced at some point or another, and we’re thrilled we can now offer installers the chance to eliminate this from their client’s homes, offices, or even their vehicles.
“We’re really happy to be the only distributor within the CI channel collaborating with Cel-Fi and see a great future ahead of us. Trade account holders can look forward to the usual benefits OneAV offers – such as credit accounts, trade discounts, and easy-ordering.”
With 80% of phone calls being made inside, poor network, slow download speeds, or even signal loss can create problems for people using their phones at home or, indeed, at work. Cel-Fi optimises cellular coverage in business, residential, and transportation applications.
“With smartphones being central to all personal and business communications, having poor mobile coverage in a private residence is unacceptable;” says Colin Abrey, VP Channel Sales, EMEA at Nextivity. “By installing our cellular enhancement solution, such as Cel-Fi QUATRA, not only does it provide seamless coverage throughout a building, it facilitates the remote management of smart home technologies. Our product range is the only one that is compliant with Ofcom‘s licence-exempt specification and works on all networks. We look forward to a prosperous business relationship with OneAV.”
Advanced tech
Cel-Fi, born in 2006, was designed and developed using the most advanced radio frequency and signal processing technology in the market today, says OneAV.
The Cel-Fi baseband processors are optimised to process radio frequency signals with very low latency ensuring trouble free operation between mobile networks and handsets for all 3G and 4G/LTE technologies and services.
Cel-Fi’s latest product range includes QUATRA. Unlike older analogue boosters and passive DAS technology, Cel-Fi QUATRA delivers a cellular signal up to 1000x stronger, using CAT 5e cabling for radio frequency and power over ethernet, with no signal attenuation right to the perimeter of the building.
OneAV have training sessions available allowing installers to deliver the QUATRA in less than a day into a project. For more information or alternative options such as online training for QUATRA, speak to your OneAV account manager.
All of Cel-Fi’s remaining product range is available for installation immediately, but the distributor suggests completing training to make things easier, faster, and more cost-effective.
OneAV training days for Cel-Fi are; July 8 & 9 at Swindon Basepoint Business Centre, July 23 at St Neots – CEDIA EMEA and July 31 at The Haysfield, Malvern.
