MSolutions will return to ISE in Barcelona with new single-cable innovations for corporate and EDU AV environments. Top of the list is a new hardware design for the world’s first USB-C Extender to support DisplayPort Alternate Mode that diversifies installation points and adds new functionality, including device powering.
Shipping in Q1 2026, the new MS-DPA-CP is a plug-and-play USB-C solution that extends DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) over a single category cable. Its slim profile and sleek design offer a more compact solution for meeting and learning spaces and a more advanced feature set. The MS-DPA-CP adds 60W of power for laptop charging from the Host Unit for presenters – a new second-gen feature.
MSolutions’s engineering talent has enabled DP Alt Mode over USB-C through specialised USB-C port configuration, which enables seamless extension of 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 18G video and USB data over one USB-C cable without installing drivers or software applications. That design for dedicated DisplayPort connectors which, along with USB-C’s streamlined cable architecture, are two important steps forward in establishing IT-forward meeting and learning spaces.
“DP Alt Mode is enabled by configuring specific pins on USB-C ports to transmit DisplayPort signals,” says Ariel Marcus, CTO, MSolutions. “Through this specialised configuration, we can eliminate bulky DisplayPort cables with heavy shielding, physical latches and metal connectors protected by large plastic housings.”
MSolutions has fully tested the MS-DPA-CP with both Mac and Windows computers to ensure broad compatibility. The device is also compatible with Neat video collaboration solutions, creating a very user-friendly meeting room infrastructure with streamlined deployment and system management.
MSolutions will also debut its complete 1Connect ecosystem in Europe at ISE, following its unveiling at InfoComm in June. 1Connect removes the complexities of USB-C and HDMI connectivity when moving signals over long distances. This design offers flexible placement for Host and Device units that transform BYOD connectivity, and enable new opportunities for seamless collaboration such as dual-screen functionality.
The updated 1Connect ecosystem is anchored through the MS-63DOC or MS-63DOC-P Docking Extender Kit. Both kits pair Host and Device extenders for AV and USB transport, while the MS-63DOC-P kit, new to ISE audiences, adds support for 60W of device charging from the Host unit to a laptop or similar source.
ISE 2026 takes place February 2-5 at the Fira de Barcelona, where MSolutions exhibits at Stand 1E900.
