Midwich has officially opened its expanded AV Hub in Edinburgh, offering a larger, more dynamic space for hands-on demonstrations, events and training. The new 3,000sqft facility aims to strengthen relationships between vendors and customers while delivering a premium technology experience in Scotland, says the company.
Located at Westcott House, Ferrymuir in South Queensferry, the upgraded AV Hub builds on the success of Midwich’s previous Scottish site. It brings together leading technologies from across the Midwich Group – including DVS, Nimans Security, Invision, Pulse and Midwich – creating a one-stop destination for discovering and testing the latest AV, UC and security innovations.
The new space allows vendors and manufacturers to maintain a permanent showcase for their solutions, helping them engage directly with customers, demonstrate products in real-world settings and gather feedback that informs future developments. This closer collaboration ensures that installers and integrators across Scotland have access to the latest technologies and expert support.

“The AV Hub has always been about creating a space where customers can experience the best technology, backed by the strength of our vendor partnerships,” says Russell Taylor, Account Director at Midwich UK&I. “This new, larger location allows us to showcase more solutions than ever before, helping our customers explore innovations that can transform their projects. The AV Hub has become a trusted destination for the Scottish AV community, and we’re proud to build on that reputation with this exciting next chapter.”
With Taylor’s established relationships across the Scottish AV channel, the enhanced AV Hub is expected to become the go-to location for integrators, consultants and technology managers seeking the latest solutions and business opportunities in the region.
“The expansion of our Edinburgh AV Hub marks an exciting milestone in our commitment to supporting customers across Scotland and the wider northern region,” says Ross Floyd, Commercial Director at Midwich UK&I. “We know that travelling to London to experience the latest technology isn’t always practical, so we’ve brought it closer to home. This new, larger facility allows our customers and partners to see, test and compare cutting-edge AV, UC and security solutions in real-world environments – helping them make confident, informed decisions.”
With over 70 guests already registered for the official opening, the event underlines the growing strength of the AV community in Scotland. Spaces for one-to-one demonstrations are filling fast, and customers are encouraged to book early to secure their visit.
