Jordan O'BrienISE 2016 will see new feature upgrades to the Ethereal HDM-GA1 and Velox Cables, alongside a new range of Helios mounts, Metra Home Theatre Group has revealed.
The likely focus at the show for Metra Home will be the HDM-GA1 Gigabit Accelerator, which now supports in-wall cables extending up to 17m.
Installers using the HDM-GA1 will be able to utilise existing passive HDMI cables to upgrade and support the full 4K/60, 4:4:4, HDR signal that is now available in many video products coming to the market.
The compact in-line Gigabit Accelerator has a 2in by 2in aluminium chassis that is powered from an external USB power supply through a USB mini connector.
Also on the show floor will be Velox Cables from Ethereal, which are now available in various sizes up to 15m, compared to the previous limitation of 12m.
All of the cables support the latest generation of HD, UltraHD and 4K video applications with the new Targa 1 Module developed in In-Visions Technology Inc.
The Velox UHD cables support 18 Gbps signal for higher resolutions, frame rates and colours over HD digital interconnects. Like the Ethereal HDM-GA1, the Velox Cables are also assembled in the USA.
Finally, Metra Home has announced that new Helios full-swivel television mounts designed to accommodate larger TVs weighing up to 150lbs and ranging from 42in to 90in, will also be on its stand at ISE 2016.
The new mounts, compatible with Plasma, LCD and LED TVs, include a 90° swivel mount with extensions up to 31in away from the wall. Installers will also be pleased by the fact that the flat panel mounts are nearly flush to the wall.

Metra Home Theater Group will showcase the new Ethereal HDM-GA1, Velox Cables and Helios Mounts, all of which are now available across the United States and in select European locations through their representatives, along with its numerous other products at ISE 2016 from February 9 – 12, 2016 at Stand 5R116.
