Loewe Technology has introduced the multi.room amp, which allows a wide range of audio devices to be integrated into multiroom or home cinema systems, regardless of their age or brand.
The multi.room amp acts as a bridge between analogue, passive speakers and modern, smart-home solutions. Loewe’s first multiroom amplifier, the multi.room It delivers up to 1,200 watts of immersive sound as a Class D amplifier with a switchable mono/stereo operation.
Compatible with Apple AirPlay, Spotify Connect, Google Cast and DTS Play-Fi, the versatile multi.room amp boasts both mono and stereo operation, selectable with its own toggle button, while its pairing function wirelessly connects with speakers in home cinema systems, rear/front multi-channel speakers, and subwoofers.
The new stereo amplifier offers up to 1,200 watts of audio from a variety of audio sources – including turntables, CD players and other digital sources – via its range of interfaces, including RCA and USB.
Two network jacks are also available for LAN integration, even in a daisy-chain configuration. There’s also HDMI-ARC with HDMI-CEC support.
The multi.room amp brings offline speakers into the multiroom world via its gold-plated banana plugs to connect to analogue speakers while active speakers are connected via the RCA preamp output and another RCA jack can support active subwoofers. Wirelessly, the Loewe multi.room amp supports all major Bluetooth and Wi-Fi standards.
Emphasis is given to the multi.room amp’s minimalist design through its easy-to-use, ergonomic controls, while the combination of sharp edges and rounded corners adds to its clean, elegant aesthetic.
