Lightware moves to new sustainable headquarters

Lightware has officially opened its new global headquarters at the HOP Technology Office Park in Budapest, Hungary, marking a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing growth and development.

The new facility reflects Lightware’s commitment to sustainability, innovation and the creation of a modern, future-ready work environment.

The new headquarters spans 7,000 square meters and is built with sustainability at its core. It integrates state-of-the-art technological infrastructure with eco-friendly solutions aimed at reducing carbon footprint and promoting environmental responsibility.

The facility is designed for energy efficiency, featuring advanced building management systems and environmentally conscious materials to minimise energy consumption and waste.

Lightware’s new office is a setting developed to encourage social interaction and support employee wellbeing. The facility includes multiple design kitchens and a spacious open-space café, offering areas for relaxation and informal engagement that foster team cohesion and creativity.

For recreation and rest, the office includes amenities such as massage chairs, comfortable seating areas, a yoga room and a PlayStation room.

Looking ahead, Lightware remains focused on advancing its sustainability initiatives. Plans are currently in progress to install a solar power system at the new headquarters, a step that will significantly increase the use of renewable energy sources and support the company’s long-term sustainability objectives.

“Moving into our new headquarters is more than just a change of address—it’s a reflection of how far we’ve come and where we’re headed,” says Gergely Vida, CEO, Lightware Visual Engineering.

“We designed this space to support the way we work today and how we’ll grow tomorrow: with sustainability in mind, and with a focus on the people who make Lightware what it is. I believe a good workspace should energise and connect people– and that’s exactly what this new facility is built to do.”
