Daniel J SaitCEDIA is reminding all members that the closing date for project submissions to the 2022 CEDIA EMEA Awards is Friday April 22, 2022.
“It’s that time of year again when anticipation begins to grow for the 2022 CEDIA EMEA Awards,” comments Matt Nimmons, Managing Director at CEDIA EMEA. “Integrators continue to deliver impressive projects and reach new heights of professionalism throughout the region and the CEDIA Awards are a great celebration of their achievements. We are looking forward to celebrating ‘the best of the best’ and seeing first-hand the innovation, quality, and expertise that our members provide to their clients in these amazing projects.”
Project categories include: Integrated Home; Media Room; Home Cinema; Showroom; Auto, Marine, or Aircraft; and Multiple Dwelling Unit Design. CEDIA members can submit projects in multiple categories, and judges will determine the appropriate level for each entry once the closing date is passed.
CEDIA Award entries from integrators are reviewed by a panel of experienced industry experts, who select finalists and winners based on specific technical criteria. Additional sub-categories include a new opportunity for recognition, Excellence in User Interface Design together with existing Excellence in Rack Cabling and Design; Excellence in Documentation; Excellence in Lighting; Excellence in Innovation; Excellence in Innovation; Life Lived Best at Home; and Technology Meets Design sub-categories. The winners for these sub-categories are selected from the winners and/or finalists in the main categories. Additionally, winners of Home Cinema, Integrated Home, and Media Room categories will be considered for CEDIA Global Awards against other winners judged in the CEDIA Americas and CEDIA Asia Pacific Awards.
Important Dates:
- EMEA finalists for installation categories will be announced in August 2022.
- Winners will be announced during the CEDA EMEA Awards ceremony. The details of the date and locations for the ceremony will be announced later in 2022.
- Manufacturers interested in the CEDIA Awards are also invited to submit products for ‘Best New Hardware’ and ‘Best New Software’ with a closing date of May 6 2022.
To qualify for the 2022 programme, entrants must be active CEDIA members and projects need to have been completed between March 2020 and March 2022. To apply for the 2022 CEDIA Awards, integrators should have documentation and project information to hand. Full rules and details are available through the CEDIA Awards Entry Platform.
