Just Add Power will offer an exclusive preview of its latest advancements designed to redefine control, simplify installation and unlock new creative possibilities for integrators at CEDIA Expo 2025, Sept. 3-6, in Denver.

Attendees are invited to visit the Just Add Power at booth C1309 to experience live demonstrations of the new MC-USB device, the MC-QX MaxColor 4K60 Tiling and Warping Encoder and see a preview of the new MC-TX1-RACK Rackmount MaxColor Encoder solution.

“We are incredibly excited to give integrators an early look at how Just Add Power is continuing to push the boundaries of AV-over-IP at CEDIA Expo 2025,” says Ed Qualls, CEO of Just Add Power. “Our focus remains on empowering our partners with solutions that not only meet today’s demands but also anticipate tomorrow’s needs. From effortless control with the MC-USB; to the endless display options made possible by the MC-QX; as well as the upcoming easy installation benefits and scalability of our Rackmount MaxColor encoder, we’re making sophisticated AV deployments more accessible and more powerful than ever before.”

Making its CEDIA preview debut, the new MaxColor USB 2.0 over IP device (MC-USB) represents a significant leap forward in integrated system control, says the manufacturer. Compatible with Just Add Power’s MaxColor Series, the MC-USB provides access to all computers on the system with built-in keyboard, video, mouse (KVM) touchscreen and webcam interface.

This device enables flexible access and robust control over distant computers, ensuring efficiency and security in 4K60 UltraHD environments. With one USB-C 2.0 on the back and two USB-C 2.0 and two USB-A 2.0 on the front, all connected over an RJ-45 1GbE LAN port, the MC-USB delivers comprehensive KVM and hotkey support, making it a tool suitable for environments demanding precise control and seamless user interaction.

The MC-QX MaxColor 4K60 Tiling and Warping Encoder combines Just Add Power’s MaxColor technology, 4K network video tiler and Warp Engine technology into a single, powerful device. This encoder allows up to four 4K60 source devices to be simultaneously displayed on a single screen in multiple formats, including single-screen, video wall, or tiled video.

With its warping capability, installers can rotate any source image in a Just Add Power matrix in 0.1-degree increments in real time, sending the rotated image to an unlimited number of Decoders for the creation of massive artistic video walls.

The MC-QX empowers integrators to imagine the possibilities for dynamic, multi-source video environments, from sports bars and casinos to digital art installations.

“The MC-QX is a testament to our vision of pushing conventional boundaries in video distribution,” says Ed. “It’s not just about delivering pristine 4K60 video; it’s about providing the freedom and flexibility to manipulate content in ways previously unimaginable, creating truly immersive and engaging visual experiences for any application.”

Designed to revolutionise AV deployments, the new MC-TX1-RACK combines three MaxColor 4K60 4:4:4 HDMI encoders into a single rackmount chassis, streamlining cable management, reducing clutter and significantly speeding up installation for both compact and large-scale AV-over-IP systems.

This is the first of its kind in the MaxColor lineup and centralises multiple encoders to reduce points of failure and simplify troubleshooting, ensuring reliable system performance and easy access to all connections via front-facing ports. Supporting all audio formats and featuring Audio Return Channel (ARC) functionality for seamless two-way audio integration, the MC-TX1-RACK is designed to make sophisticated AV setups more efficient and powerful than ever.

Demonstrations showing just how easy it is to install and configure the MC-TX1-RACK and all Just Add Power systems will be held regularly throughout the CEDIA Expo.
