Daniel J SaitInvision UK has revealed two immersive cinema trailers from Trinnov, which visitors to Trinnov’s demonstration suite at ISE would have experienced.
Visitors to the Trinnov demo space at ISE also would have enjoyed the Music Machine One video, which combines images of an imagined music machine with a dynamic soundtrack – taking full advantage of the capabilities of immersive audio, using multiple active objects and DTS:X Pro playback utilising all the loudspeakers in the room.
New DTS Codec
As of January 31 2020, all Trinnov Altitude processors are compatible with the new DTS:X Pro codec from DTS. Released as a free update to its existing customers, this new update breaks the limitations of 11 discretely rendered channels inherent to DTS:X. Integrators can now deliver systems of up to 30.2 channels, with the Altitude being the only consumer processor currently available featuring this technology and the only one capable of discretely rendering all 32 channels of the new format.
