Jordan O'BrienVivitek is expanding its distribution presence in the UK, with the company having recently appointed Karma AV to handle its home cinema projection line-up, and more specifically the new pro-grade Vivitek H5098.
While Karma AV will distribute other Vivitek products, the H5098 will be the company’s primary focus at first. Billed as a professional-grade home cinema projector for the consumer enthusiast, the projector has been specifically designed to appeal to Karma AV’s reseller community.
Vivitek opted for Karma AV due to its existing product portfolio, which can be paired with the company’s projectors, as well as its technical and sales support. Karma AV regularly hosts training and demo days at its offices for dealers, a particular attraction for Vivitek.
In preparation for its launch, Karma AV has already received extensive training on the Vivitek H5098. It boasts Full HD 1080p resolution and colour reproduction delivered by an RGBRGB colour wheel. Vivitek has also packed in 2,000 ANSI lumens of brightness and a contrast ratio of 50,000:1.
