AliceAWE has signed a distribution deal with Sony to stock the manufacturer’s range of Sony UHD TVs.
The stand out screen in the range is the Sony Bravia KD85XD8505BU Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR 85in LED TV – a HDR-compatible TV optimised to deliver ‘incredible levels of colour, contrast and detail’.
Brighter than standard video formats, the picture produced is one of the most lifelike ever produced, says Sony – and is equally suited to displaying sports and films.
Utilising an inbuilt 4K Processor X1, the TV is able to upscale content to near-4K quality. This applies to Blu-rays, DVDs and online videos. Not stopping there, its 4K X-Reality PRO engine enhances every pixel to achieve a lifelike feel by addressing texture, contrast, colour and edges.
Even when images are moving fast onscreen, Motionflow XR maintains smooth movement with sharp details by creating and inserting extra frames between the originals to compensate for any blur or skipping.
This screen is just one of many that AWE will be stocking, as its customers will also have access to the ZD, XD, SD and WD ranges. All Sony products are available with a five-year warranty.
