Ministry of Sound is continuing its charge on the premium audio market, with the company announcing new portable wireless speakers and WiFi-connected multi-room home speakers.
The company has produced the speakers in collaboration with its creative team of sound engineers and in-house DJs behind ‘The Box’, which is still the Ministry of Sound’s main-room sound system.
With its latest line-up of speakers, Ministry is hoping that all tastes are catered for, with the company promising that its newest audio devices have been specifically designed for all genres.
The range includes five wireless speakers, all of which are designed to augment being inside the Ministry of Sound’s award-winning club – albeit at home or on the move.

The first speaker is the Audio S Plus, which is a portage speaker boasting a rugged splash proof design and NFC Bluetooth pairing.
The Audio S Plus can work with devices 10m away and includes an internal lithium-ion battery, which can be charged using the Micro USB port.
Users aren’t restricted to just Bluetooth pairing however, with there also being a 3.5mm line-in port available.

Another portable speaker in Ministry of Sound’s range is the Audio M, which connects via Bluetooth with aptX.
Ministry of Sound has tried to make this speaker as discreet as possible, with a touch surface at the top which users can tap and swipe to change volume and skip tracks.
Unlike the Audio S Plus – which manages 15 hours of audio playback – the Audio M will be able to muster up just four hours of playback, although that’s mainly down to its ultra-portable design, while still including many of the other features found on the Audio S Plus.

The Audio M Plus is one of Ministry of Sound’s premium wireless speakers, with the speaker being significantly larger than the typical Audio M.
Once again, Bluetooth connectivity is included with added support for Apple’s AirPlay and DLNA.
This is the first of Ministry of Sound’s latest line-up to support connecting to a WiFi network for multi-zonal home audio, similar to a Sonos system.

Alongside the Audio L Plus, the M Plus can be controlled and setup using the company’s new smartphone and tablet App; which will allow users to browse and play their music from any device and stream different songs to each room, as well as customise features and access exclusive content. The App also enables streaming from the likes of Spotify and Deezer.
Where the Audio L Plus differs from the M Plus is in its design, the latter of which employing a more cylindrical shape, while the former is a little boxier.
Every Friday and Saturday night users of the Audio L Plus and Audio M Plus will be able to stream live music from the Ministry of Sound’s London club.
Each speaker ranges in price, with the Audio L Plus and M Plus costing £299.99 and £199.99, respectively. The Audio M will set users back £149.99, while the Audio S Plus costs £129.99.
There’s also a smaller portable speaker available, complete with a wristband, dubbed the Audio S. Like the Audio S Plus, this features a splash proof, rugged design, with prices for this set at £79.99.
