Jordan O'BrienMetra Home Theater has named RGB as its distributor for the UK market, with the company set to handle all of Metra’s cabling ranges going forward.
Many installers will already look to RGB for AV management solutions, thanks to clients such as Absolute Acoustics and Atlona, but Metra Home Theater will complete that line-up. Its range includes everything from 4K-ready HDMI cables to premium audio cables designed to ensure there’s no degradation in quality between the amplifier and the speaker.
Speaking regarding the appointment, Gordon Innocent, chairman of RGB Communications, notes: “We’re delighted to welcome Metra onboard and hope our new distribution partnership with them going forward goes from strength to strength.

Metra Home Theater cables all come with the ‘guarantee’ of reliability. The company puts its range through stringent tests, and its MHX, MHY and Velox offerings all carry DPL Labs’ certification. Products bearing this certification are guaranteed to offer the full 18Gpbs of bandwidth, high speed Ethernet, audio return channel (ARC) and satisfy current HDMI specifications.
