Invision UK and madVR Labs have announced a new distribution partnership that brings the madVR Envy Extreme MK2 and Pro MK2 video processors to the UK custom install market.
The partnership comes concurrent with the just-released MK2 version of these models announced recently, which deliver a boost in GPU power, upgraded state-of-the-art system components, a redesigned cooling system, a new premium backlit remote control and an attractive custom case designed from the ground up to create the new industry standard for dedicated video processors. Qualifying dealers may order the Envy MK2 models through Invision UK effective immediately.
The madVR Envy employs patent-pending video processing technology to deliver unparalleled picture quality to dedicated home theatres and advanced media rooms, says its creator. With features including 4K HDR dynamic tone mapping, instant aspect ratio detection, superior non-linear stretch and its MotionAI motion handling currently in beta, the Envy sets the standard for high-end video processing, claims the maker. In addition, madVR argues that Envy offers unrivalled 4K upscaling, specialised sharpening and detail enhancement and enables massive 3D and 1D LUT calibrations with unprecedented precision.
Mark Taylor, Commercial Director at Invision, comments, “We are thrilled to partner with madVR Labs to bring the Envy to the UK custom install market. Our home cinema portfolio is already extensive, and adding this award-winning product to the mix takes our comprehensive cinema solution to a whole new level.”
As part of Invision’s commitment to providing quality products and services to integrators, the madVR Envy will be included in the ‘Committed to Custom’ pledge. Launched in 2022, the programme promises to drive positive change within the custom install market by improving training and education, offering innovative, class-leading products, and providing high-quality support for integrators.
Key areas of the pledge include a minimum three-year warranty as standard, and the products being only sold to qualified custom installers, providing assurance that integrators are competing with like-minded businesses. With the newly announced five-year warranty on the Envy Extreme MK2 and Pro MK2, madVR Labs provides the confidence that integrators are looking for in the brands they install and support says the distributor.
Richard T. Litofsky, co-founder and CEO of madVR Labs, adds, “We are honoured that Invision has selected the madVR Envy as its video processor of choice for the UK custom install market. To be recognised for delivering high levels of service and support in Invision’s Committed to Custom pledge, alongside such esteemed brands, is something we are especially proud of. We look forwardto working with Invision to bring the Envy MK2 series to Invision’s outstanding portfolio, along with the continued involvement of Apex Tech.”
The Envy Extreme MK2 will be installed in Invision’s Home Cinema in Innovation House, Bracknell, shortly.
