Prove your humanity

This sprawling 9.5-acre property in the salubrious Coto de Caza area in California is now on the market for $10.995 million (£7.54m).

The mansion features a home theatre, a full-house surround sound system that works across each of the nine bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, a lounge and a billiard room, a lookout tower, an entertainer’s pavilion, a private lake, waterfalls, slides and swim-in caves, in addition to a half-scale replica pirate ship complete with cannons and a cabin.

The home is well known as it was once almost bought by Los Angeles Lakers star player Kobe Bryant 15 years ago.

At the time, 22-year old Kobe and his wife were under contract to buy the 9.5-acre property, which was listed for $13.5 million.

According to The Times, the couple backed out of the deal due to “business issues and privacy concerns,” opting instead for a $4-million home in Newport Beach.
