Jordan O'BrienInstallers will be able to see the benefits of Yamaha’s recently launched MusicCast at Essential Install Live! North for the first time in the UK.
Habitech will be showcasing all of its latest technology, but no doubt a highlight for many installers will be MusicCast, which will be available on the show floor for demonstrations.
MusicCast is designed to make multi-room audio more powerful than ever before, boasting the ability to be used both for playback and as an audio source.
So far, as many as twenty-three MusicCast devices are available, including active speakers, receivers, soundbars and bases, all of which are controlled from a single smart phone or tablet App.
The platform features Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Ethernet and Bluetooth connectivity, plus Apple AirPlay support.
In addition to joining an existing network, each MusicCast product can function as an access point by supporting wireless-direct streaming technology.
The system accepts MP3, WMA and AAC audio files up to 48kHz, Apple Lossless at 96kHz, WAV, AIFF, or FLAC files at 192kHz.
Also new to UK show audiences, Wyrestorm’s 4×4 and 6×6 PoE, 4K matrix switchers and updates to the NuVo multiroom systems with drivers for easy integration with Crestron systems.
JVC’s latest 4K projectors, supported by a full cast of Sonance architectural speakers and amps will also be on show on Stand 14.
