Blok has introduced Axis, a new precision-engineered speaker stand range designed to unlock the performance potential of stand-mount loudspeakers, combining acoustic engineering with a restrained, minimalist design.
Available in three heights – 500mm, 600mm and 700mm – and, unusually, offered at a single price across the range, Axis provides flexibility to optimise speaker positioning for different loudspeaker designs and listening environments.
Developed around Monitor Audio Group’s Transparent Design Philosophy, Axis is designed to balance technology, performance and aesthetics. The philosophy is based on neither design nor technology overpowering the other, with the physical product intended to sit comfortably within its environment while supporting musical neutrality and acoustic transparency.

Acoustic engineering and design
At the core of Axis is a focus on acoustic inertness. Each structural element has been engineered to minimise unwanted resonance and vibration, providing a stable platform from which loudspeakers can perform with greater clarity, focus and accuracy.
A precision-engineered metal top plate provides a stable and acoustically controlled platform compatible with virtually any standmount loudspeaker. Integrated rubber isolation pads decouple the speaker from the stand, helping to reduce vibration and resonance transfer.
At the centre of the stand is a rigid extruded metal pole engineered to provide strength and stability while minimising resonance. The column can be filled with Blok’s proprietary IsoFill acoustic damping material, adding mass and further vibration control. Blok says this can contribute to tighter bass reproduction and more precise imaging.
The wide, chamfered plywood plinth uses layered construction to provide additional rigidity and structural stability. Its design is intended to control resonance while strengthening the stand where required, reducing vibration transfer and improving overall stability.

Stability and isolation
Axis is supplied with precision chrome-plated steel spikes, designed to mechanically couple the stand firmly to the floor and minimise unwanted movement and resonance.
For installations on hardwood and other hard flooring, Blok’s Stainless Steel Floor Guard Discs are available as an optional accessory, protecting the floor while providing additional isolation.
The combination of metal and plywood is also central to the visual design of Axis, with Blok aiming for an understated appearance suitable for both contemporary interiors and premium loudspeaker systems.
Axis is available in Satin Black with Black Ash Plywood or Satin White with Natural Ash Plywood.
The Axis 500, Axis 600 and Axis 700 are all priced at £325 / $430 / €400 per pair. Blok IsoFill is priced at £35 / $45 / €40 for a 7kg tub, while a set of eight Blok Floor Guard Discs costs £25 / $35 / €30.
Blok Axis will be available from September 2026.
