AWE Europe explains it will be working with the RDI to promote its Smart Home Academy products and services direct to the Institute’s UK installation database and to the wider digital sector.
Stuart Tickle, AWE MD, says: “Working with the RDI provides us with a fantastic opportunity to reach out to its member base. The Smart Home Academy is the ideal training programme for RDI members, as it provides attendees with a greater understanding of the custom install sector and offers both theoretical and practical based learning.
“Alongside this, we represent over fifteen brands, including Panasonic, Samsung, Philips Dynalite and Epson, so are best placed to provide RDI members with a great selection of products, some of which haven’t been easily accessible to them previously. We look forward to cementing a successful working relationship with the RDI.”
Mike Davies; RDI Director adds: “With the emergence of new technologies and CI products, this is an exciting time for the digital sector as a whole and the RDI. AWE Europe is a great addition to our growing list of highly respected partners within the UK Custom Install Industry.
“We recognise AWE for their award winning distribution, training, products and services to the trade. Through this new partnership, our members will be introduced to new network partners and an exciting range of new skills and services.”
Mike adds: “We are looking forward to developing a strong successful relationship with AWE Europe and we are confident that our new partnership will further expand our portfolio to provide the necessary training and skills pathways in order to meet the continued demand for extended knowledge in the emerging technology sector.”
The RDI was originally created in 2005 to help create a qualified, security checked, insured and safe digital TV installers as part of the Digital Switchover initiative.
Today, it represents member companies active across a greater digital spectrum where traditional signal reception and electronic servicing skills form part of an increasingly broader picture, including, for example, energy provision, security and IP connectivity.
