Stratton Acoustics Introduces Element 6 and Element 8

Stratton Acoustics Ltd, the British-based, high-end artisan loudspeaker manufacturer, announces the addition of two new models to its Element range: the Element 6 and Element 8.

These elegantly compact, hand-built designs bring Stratton’s signature sonic integrity and refined, craftsmanship to a new, easily accommodated scale, combining exceptional performance with jewellery-inspired aesthetics, says the maker.

Built to the same exacting standards as the Element 12 and Elypsis 1512, the Element 6 and Element 8 loudspeakers – unveiled at the Axpona 2025 Show – have been created to offer a visually arresting presence, include premium materials, class-leading electro-acoustic design, engineering, combined to deliver a luxurious experience for both the eyes and ears.

The Element 6 redefines what a compact loudspeaker can be, claims the product’s creator. With its sleek lines and luxurious finishes, this design-inspired speaker doubles as a striking visual statement in any interior. Despite its modest dimensions, the Element 6 is every bit a high-fidelity performer.

At its core is a 6in (150mm) carbon-fibre bass/midrange driver paired with Stratton Acoustics’ patented decoupled, waveguide-loaded 29mm soft dome tweeter – a configuration engineered for precise imaging, wide dispersion and exceptional musical coherence. The enclosure is an acrylic-silica reinforced polymer matrix, chosen for its inertness and resonance-suppressing qualities. Combined with CNC-machined, aerospace-grade aluminium front and rear baffles, the combination promotes a clean, transparent sound with a durable, luxurious finish that will last for decades to come.

Ideal for smaller spaces or nearfield listening environments, the Element 6 is designed to be a testament to the principle that less can indeed be more.

The Element 8 retains the same design DNA as the Element 6 but scales up both the visual presence and acoustic performance. With its 8in (200mm) carbon-fibre bass/midrange driver, the Element 8 brings a deeper, more authoritative bass foundation, while maintaining the same focus on clarity, balance and musical expression.

Like its smaller sibling, it features the same patented decoupled, waveguide-loaded 29mm soft dome tweeter, housed in an acrylic-silica reinforced polymer matrix enclosure. As with the Element 6, the Element 8 employs a reflex-loaded cabinet architecture with a precision-engineered flared port with our innovative dual resistive port vents used to suppress the pipe resonance, eliminating port coloration and ensuring musical, fast, clean bass response.

The result is a speaker that delivers a flat frequency response, class-leading dynamics, extended bass, and maximal emotional engagement, all within a stunningly elegant form, says the manufacturer.

To complement the Element 6 and 8s, Stratton Acoustics has developed dedicated stands, designed not merely to support, but to enhance both the visual impact and acoustic performance of the loudspeakers. Precision-machined from aerospace-grade aluminium, the stands are engineered for strength, rigidity and vibration control. Their sculptural form mirrors the jewel-like detailing of the front and rear baffles of the speakers, with a finish that plays with light and reflection to striking effect, elevating the aesthetics of the entire system.

Beyond aesthetics, the stands offer extreme rigidity and strength while decoupling the speaker from floor vibrations that can blur detail and reduce clarity. This ensures that energy remains focused where it matters – on delivering pristine, emotionally engaging sound. As with all Stratton Acoustics designs, form and function work hand in hand, with the Element Stands completing the system, both visually and sonically.

As always, the speakers and stands are handcrafted in Great Britain by Stratton Acoustics’ team of specialist artisans, directed and personally overseen by the in-house design and engineering team.

“These new models encapsulate our passion for designing speakers that don’t just sound beautiful, but are beautiful,” says founder David Fowler. “The Element 6 and Element 8 are compact, yes, but uncompromising. They’re built for music lovers who want to experience the passion in music, but who also value precision engineering, as well as timeless beauty.”
