RTI has expanded its Commercial Amplifier Series with four new models, including three featuring Dante connectivity, alongside new wall-mounted Zone Controllers designed to simplify multi-zone audio installations.
The expanded range provides integrators with configurable two-, four- and eight-channel amplification for commercial, residential and entertainment applications.
The new RTI-AMP-IWC Zone Controller offers local volume and source selection without requiring a separate control system. Designed exclusively for the RTI-AMP Series, it fits into a standard single-gang in-wall box and connects to the amplifier via a single Cat5e cable and a standard PoE switch. An international version, the RTI-AMP-IWC-EU, is also available.
Built around UMAC Class D output circuitry and a UREC universal switch-mode power supply with power factor correction, the amplifiers support both conventional low-impedance (4Ω/8Ω) loudspeakers and high-impedance (70V/100V) distributed audio systems.
This flexibility removes the need for external transformers or separate amplifier models when working across mixed-topology installations. Power output is rated at 125W per channel for low-impedance applications and 250W for high-impedance systems.
Dante-enabled models, identified by the ‘D’ suffix, integrate with professional IP audio networks and offer AES67 interoperability. This enables long-distance audio routing and daisy-chaining while reducing the requirement for dedicated audio cabling.
Configuration is handled through a browser-based interface, accessible via wired Ethernet or built-in Wi-Fi, without dedicated software. Installers can adjust input and output routing, per-channel parametric EQ, crossovers, delay, limiters, polarity and GPIO-based external control.
Presets can also be locked, exported and shared between projects to streamline commissioning and maintain consistent system tuning.
The complete RTI Commercial Amplifier Series comprises the RTI-AMP-2-125, RTI-AMP-2-125D, RTI-AMP-4-125, RTI-AMP-4-125D, RTI-AMP-8-125 and RTI-AMP-8-125D, alongside the RTI-AMP-IWC and RTI-AMP-IWC-EU Zone Controllers.
