Optimised for large outdoor audio systems, a new line of versatile Episode Hybrid Amplifiers from ADI | Snap One is now available to international customers. The amplifiers are designed for high power, flexible performance in both outdoor and indoor settings.
The new models offer 1200W and 2400W of power and are engineered to meet the demands of large-scale outdoor speaker installations. According to Snap One, the updated amplifiers provide significantly more configuration options than previous versions.
“As a combined business, the size and scope of our outdoor audio systems is expanding, and our customers increasingly need a powerful amplifier to deliver the exceptional outdoor and indoor listening experiences their clients expect,” said Michael Buratto, Director of Product Management for Episode Multi-Room Audio at Snap One. “Today’s end-users are no longer willing to sacrifice quality when it comes to outdoor entertainment – they want their outdoor audio systems to match the sound quality of their indoor setups. The new and improved Hybrid Amps are designed to meet this dual need, along with providing features that enhance versatility and simplify the installation and configuration process.”
The Hybrid Amps support both 70V and 8-ohm systems, allowing installers to mix and match speakers and subwoofers, including Episode’s Surroundscape and Radiance speakers. DSP settings can be customised for each project via a web-based interface or the high-resolution front panel display.
Inputs and outputs are fully adjustable, supporting a wide range of source types and levels, including balanced and RCA analogue inputs, and digital coax inputs. The amplifiers have undergone extensive testing to ensure long-term performance across residential and commercial environments.
