Ahead of the CEDIA Award celebrations later this year, CEDIA has announced the headline sponsor will be ABB, manufacturer of electrical and smart home products.
Following a successful campaign at last year’s awards, ABB is back on board as the headliner for the 2019 EMEA event at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London on Thursday September 26, where the company will support some top work in the industry and enjoy an evening with industry friends, press, and esteemed guests.
ABB is a tech company with a comprehensive offering for digital industries. With a history of innovation spanning more than 130 years, ABB has four customer-focused, globally leading businesses: Electrification, Industrial Automation, Motion, and Robotics & Discrete Automation, supported by its common ABB Ability digital platform. ABB operates in more than 100 countries.

Dean Reddy, UK Product Marketing Manager of ABB’s Electrification business: “Our smart buildings solutions shape the future by making buildings intelligent. Modern homeowners want to be connected at all times and like to control every element of their home. With ABB i-bus KNX solutions, homeowners are able to control multiple home automation functions and even integrate music or theatre scenes. This can be done with a switch on the wall or from anywhere in the world via PC or a smartphone app, making the lives of homeowners easier, safer, and smarter.”
“After supporting the 2018 EMEA CEDIA Awards as Headline sponsor, we’re delighted to be back on board for another year,” Dean adds. “The residential market is a key focus for ABB and we’re proud to be associated with an awards programme that continues to set the standard in the industry, honouring the most outstanding technology projects and solutions across the EMEA region.”
Matt Nimmons, Managing Director of CEDIA EMEA comments: “We’re delighted to have ABB on board for the CEDIA Awards this year, and would like to thank them for their continued support and commitment to the industry. We couldn’t put on such a fantastic event each year without our supporters, and we look forward to celebrating together in September.”
