Flexson, the dedicated Sonos accessories brand, has been acquired by HEA Distribution – returning it to members of the brand’s founding team.
The brand has been acquired from Exertis UK alongside its sister brand SoundXtra, which designs and manufactures high-quality accessories for a range of leading speaker and soundbar brands, complementing Flexson’s dedicated focus on the Sonos ecosystem.
The acquisition makes Flexson the first own-brand in HEA Distribution’s portfolio of premium audio brands, reflecting the company’s commitment to developing high-quality, specialist products alongside its established roster of represented manufacturers.
To support the acquisition, the HEA Distribution team will be strengthened by two key new team members, Mark Glen and Rob Neil, bringing decades of brand and industry expertise.
This acquisition represents a natural and deliberate homecoming for Flexson, which will benefit from the passion of original team members and the brand-building focus of HEA Distribution. They plan a renewed focus on what originally distinguished Flexson among installers, retailers and Sonos customers alike: beautifully designed, precision-engineered accessories that enable users to get more from their speakers and soundbars.

To support the acquisition, HEA Distribution has appointed Mark Glen as Director of Own Brands. Mark brings almost 20 years’ experience of the Sonos universe and own-brand management to this new role, including a long association with the Flexson and SoundXtra brands.
He’s joined by Rob Neil, as International Sales Director, Own Brands. Rob has decades of industry experience and is a renowned specialist in scaling global sales via distribution partnerships.
The refreshed direction places equal emphasis on the requirements of consumer, commercial and custom installation (CI) customers, with new product development and further innovation already under way.
The Flexson portfolio encompasses wall mounts, floor stands, TV brackets and specialist mounting solutions, each designed to integrate Sonos products seamlessly into any environment – whether residential, hospitality, commercial or custom installation.
