Driving the visual scale and fidelity of Samsung’s modular ‘The Wall’ screens, and soon to feature on a new range of single panel displays, MicroLED technology delivers precise control at the pixel level. Because each pixel is the product of three tiny self-emissive RGB LEDs, its brightness and colour can be delivered with high accuracy or be turned off entirely to create a ‘perfect’ black for maximum contrast. As a result, MicroLED tech generates a contrast-rich display across wide viewing angles similar in many ways to OLED panels but much brighter with punchy natural colour and to-die-for blacks.
Habitech argues that, now that Lutron is recognised worldwide for turning lighting control into a thing of extraordinary functionality and beauty, you’d expect nothing less from its window treatments. Compatible with Lutron’s HomeWorks and HomeWorks Wireless systems, Lutron’s new Sivoia smart wood blinds harness a smartphone’s compass to assign each with an ability to track the arc of the sun, automatically adjusting its angles to optimise the level of natural light in the room throughout the day. Alongside the visual wow, Habitech introduces its completely invisible counterpart. For the first time, the Sonance ‘Motion Flex’ invisible speaker line of two-way 6.5in/8in/10in speakers and dedicated 10in/15in woofers, is able to deliver the fidelity of a high-quality visible speaker. It’s taken two years of dedicated R&D to define the ideal marriage of aesthetic and acoustic properties in a totally new design, which isolates the individual drivers on a single diaphragm for optimum fidelity.
And the reach of Sonance design extends to garden areas as well. Represented at EI Live! by the Garden Series of outdoor speakers, the original Sonance sat/sub format uses discreet in-ground speakers to envelop any space with a smooth, even sound-field, custom-mapped for your project by Habitech.
