Habitech, value-added CI distributor, is delighted to be adding its energies to the RA2 Select platform, the latest and most ambitious evolution of Lutron’s wireless innovation, which began with RadioRA in 1997.
Providing ease-of-use and utility at a mainstream price, Lutron’s proven whole-house lighting and window treatment system is designed to meet the needs of any home and to introduce the luxury and convenience of sophisticated ambient light control to a much wider audience.
Making its Habitech debut on Stand 48 at this year’s EI Live show, RA2 Select gives home owners comfort, convenience and control with the ability to personalise lighting and window shade scenarios via an intuitive app.
It also gives installers the opportunity to quickly and easily deliver whole-house wireless integration of combined lighting control and Lutron window treatments for profitable outcomes.
Simple, fast, flexible and reliable
The RA2 Select platform of wireless keypads and sensors, in-line dimmers and switches uses Lutron’s patented ‘Clear Connect’ wireless technology, generated by tiny ‘Repeater’ modules.
The only wiring involved connects the in-line dimmers and switches. The Main Repeater (with a global 9m range) is simply plugged in to a wall socket for power and connected to the home network for integration.
Up to four auxiliary repeaters (each with a similar 9m range) can be added to extend the system for large homes. RA2 Select’s simple wireless ecosystem makes it ideal for easy installation in retrofit applications and saves costs in new construction.
The free Lutron RA2 Select app available for iOS and Android offers personalised control and ambient lighting/shade design from a smart device in any location.
Bringing added simplicity to the smart home, RA2 Select seamlessly integrates with other smart home technologies, including Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, The Google Assistant, Honeywell Wi-Fi Thermostats, Nest and Sonos, as well as popular home control platforms, including Crestron and Control4.
