Habitech Partners With Acurus At The Apex Of Home Cinema Design

In a busy month for the company after announcing the addition of Middle Atlantic to its line-up, Habitech has announced a distribution agreement with Acurus, a US-based specialist in the design and manufacture of high-end audio processors and amplifiers for luxury home theatres.

Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, Acurus is a multi-award-winning American-made brand, dedicated to the delivery of flawless sound, build and operational quality. With a heritage of design excellence over 30 years, Acurus introduced its first high-end home theatre product line, the A2000 family of networked class A/B cinema amplifiers, in 2011.

Deploying advanced and proprietary technologies for audio, system set-up and control, Habitech says Acurus creates perfectly balanced solutions for demanding smart home installations.

The current range comprises three processing models including the ACT-4 designs (up to 20-channel) and the new, slender 2RU ‘MUSE’ processor, scheduled for UK release in Q1 this year.

Supporting amplifiers include the two-channel Aries model, the Scorpion multi-zone design and the new eight-channel M8, matching and launching with the MUSE processor.

In 2016, the award-winning ACT 4 16-channel immersive processor became the first of its kind to launch in the sub £10K price range with full Dolby Atmos and DTS:X integration.
