High-quality installation TV brand, Aquavision, has added a new distributor to its line up in the form of Habitech.
Habitech says the brand is not just a great domestic proper in-wall installation TV, but also has plans to push the brand’s advantages in the commercial install sector as well.
Around since the late 90s, Aquavision’s product range has evolved beyond its original wet area designs to offer a more rounded solutions for all around the house/property and most recently outside as well with the new Horizon range.
The agreement is effective from now and places Habitech’s sales and support behind as many as six specialised Aquavision ranges, all meeting IP66 ratings, spanning screen sizes from 16in to 85in at up to 4K resolution and available in multiple permutations of feature set, style and glass design.
Aquavision’s bespoke services will also be available through Habitech for when clients have a particular need.
Habitech is also keen to underline the durable commercial-grade panels used by the brand, engineered and warranted for an extended 16 hours of use per day, seven days a week for two years (consumer brands are designed and warranted for around seven hours per day).
Installers can also of course rely on connectivity options via IP, RS232 and discreet IR codes. There are also drivers for AMX, Crestron, Simple Control, Control 4 and RTI and from IoS devices through Simple Control’s Home Automation app (a platform also available from Habitech).
Habitech also points to the brand’s back-boxes complete with PSU which can be purchased separately for first fix and for final fix. Also Aquavision’s ‘hole-in-the-wall’ guarantee promises the supply of an Aquavision model to fit any hole based the brand’s cut-out spec, regardless of when the hole was cut.
Let’s Go Outside
Habitech’s partnership with Aquavision coincides with the launch of the brand’s first outdoor TV range. Seen for the first time at EI Live! earlier in the year, five ‘Horizon’ models in 32in, 43in, 55in, 65in and 85in.
Screen sizes and six brightness levels are supplied in a white satin frame and include an anti-reflective full HD or 4K LED screen.
The IP65 rating means that they’re protected against water, dust, sand, moisture, insects and can withstand temperatures of between -40°C (-40°F) and 110°C (230°F).
Commenting on the partnership, Aquavision’s founder and MD Alastair Benn says, “For us as a rapidly growing company, choosing Habitech to further our distribution in the CI and commercial channels is a natural progression. They are highly professional and their sales team will ensure that we are distributed to a new and exciting UK customer base.”
Habitech’s MD Jonathan Pengilley adds, “I’m delighted to be working with a globally acknowledged leader and innovator in a significant sector of CI design. Our customers expect to see their TV screens flat to the wall, with Aquavision we can go one better and who wouldn’t want that?!”
