GIK Acoustics has introduced its Amplitude line, a new generation of acoustic treatment panels that blend the company’s trusted performance with a fresh, refined aesthetic. The range marks a significant evolution for GIK, bringing together decades of acoustic expertise with a new design language that complements both creative and residential spaces.
At the heart of the launch is GIK’s patented recessed plate technology, which allows the face plate to sit flush with the frame for a sleek, contemporary look. The result is crisp lines and a premium finish that enhances any environment, from professional studios to high-end living spaces. The new design also improves the acoustic behaviour of each panel, ensuring that visual appeal is matched by technical precision.
Replacing GIK’s long-running Alpha and Impression series, the Amplitude line distils years of customer feedback and product innovation into one cohesive family. The collection includes:
- Amplitude Acoustic Panels – a versatile broadband solution combining absorption and diffusion in a slim, space-efficient format, starting at $79 / £129 / €119.
- Amplitude Bass Trap Panels – engineered to control low-frequency build-up and enhance clarity below 100Hz, starting at $119 / £159 / €149.
- Amplitude Corner Bass Traps – delivering broadband control where rooms need it most, starting at $209 / £179 / €199.

Each model is finished in premium Camira fabrics, widely recognised for their acoustic transparency and refined appearance. With 20 fabric colours, 12 patterns and five wood finishes available, the Amplitude line offers ample flexibility for both performance-driven and design-led projects. Panels come in four sizes, while corner traps are available in two.
“Our mission with Amplitude was to take everything we’ve learned over the past two decades and push panel design forward,” says David Shevyn, Chief Product Officer, GIK Acoustics. “The recessed plate is not just an aesthetic choice; it also improves the acoustic behaviour of the panel significantly. The result is panels that look striking, but more importantly, give creators and listeners a room they can trust.”
While GIK’s products have long been associated with studios and dedicated cinema rooms, the Amplitude launch reflects a broader shift in how people think about sound within the home. Acoustic comfort is becoming a key part of overall interior design, with homeowners increasingly seeking balanced, natural-sounding spaces for work, entertainment and everyday living. Whether listening to music, relaxing with a film or simply enjoying conversation, great acoustics contribute to a more enjoyable and harmonious home environment.
With the Amplitude line, GIK Acoustics continues to bridge the gap between technical performance and design-led living, offering solutions that enhance both how a room sounds and how it feels.
