CEDIA has quietly announced a rebranding of its Tech Forums, with the association now set to host a range of Tech Summits in 2019. While the format will largely remain the same, with the events still free to attend and available in several locations throughout the UK, this year’s roadshow will be themed to ‘what’s new in audio, video, control, and security’.
Kicking off on April 4 at Lord’s Cricket Ground, the 2019 CEDIA Tech Summits will combine educational sessions, practical business development, and networking, bringing together home technology professionals from across the industry. After a stop at Lord’s, the CEDIA Tech Summit will travel to Wetherby Racecourse on June 11, followed by the BT Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on October 2.
Each of the day-long events will feature four, 45-minute presentations, with a different trade supplier representing each of these four categories. Alongside these seminars, the day will provide an opportunity for attendees to check out the exhibitors and their latest technology innovations, as well as a complimentary lunch, and a networking and drinks reception to end the day. Details of the individual training sessions will be announced shortly.
“CEDIA’s Tech Summits are the perfect destination for integrators who are looking to stay on top of industry developments,” comments Matt Nimmons, Managing Director of CEDIA EMEA.
“With targeted education on offer, attendees can brush up on their skills whilst networking with their peers in some of the most fantastic venues across the UK. We look forward to welcoming both members and non-members to each of our regional events this year.”
The format for each day will be as follows:
