CEDIA has announced details for its AGM – which will take place at IET Savoy Place in London on November 4.
A range of companies are set to get involved in the 2016 CEDIA AGM in London, with Aldous Systems, Arcam, AWE, Domotz, Genesis Technologies, Ivory Egg, Lode Audio, Lutron, Meridian Audio and ONE AV all sponsoring the event.
Following the standard Tech Forum format, each sponsor will host a one-hour training session on the latest product or industry topic. The manufacturers and distributors will also be showcasing their latest products to attendees throughout the day and will be available to answer any questions attendees may have.
Two talks will run simultaneously throughout the day. The first talk is set to begin at 10:00, with the last ending around 16:45. A full breakdown of the day’s schedule and talk titles can be found on the CEDIA website.
Following all sponsor talks, CEDIA will host its annual AGM event, for CEDIA members only. The association will present a detailed review of the year and outline any future plans. This will include reports on education, marketing, membership growth, finance and more. Members are then invited to stay for an evening of networking.
“2016 has been a momentous year for CEDIA EMEA with many worthy triumphs: a successful CEDIA Awards, a Trailblazer apprenticeship scheme, as well as the recently announced plans for global alignment, among many others,” comments Wendy Griffiths, executive director of CEDIA EMEA.
“The Tech Forum and AGM event is a great opportunity to learn about the latest products and trends before welcoming in the New Year. We look forward to ending the year with all industry professionals at the event on a high.”
CEDIA members and non-members who wish to attend the CEDIA Tech Forum can register online.
