BeaAfter great deliberation, we have made the decision to move EI Live! Europe to 2023 in order to enable this first event to reach its full potential and provide the platform it needs to succeed and grow in the future.
Announcing and putting on a new show of this type in the same year was always an ambitious target. However, the response to the initial announcement (almost half of the stands were sold soon after the concept was revealed) and the enthusiasm across the industry for a dedicated residential show in Europe, gave EI Live! Europe a positive start.
With such an important main partner as KNX Europe as one of the training providers, as well as securing the partnership of industry veteran Wim De Vos (Owner of the free industry online education platform HT University Online, and leading value-added distribution company, Genesis Home Technology Architects) to take the lead in providing the rest of the learning and training experiences at the event, we have a winning combination.
We have also secured one of the top venues in Europe – The Passenger Terminal, Amsterdam. This venue delivers all the accommodation and facilities needed for the event in one easy to reach site.
Securing all of this has established the foundations that the event needs to move forward, but in a challenging market from a logistics point of view, many exhibitors who wish to attend have told us that their debut at the show will have to be next year. This is due to several factors – the most prevalent being marketing/event budgets already being set for this year, along with the amount of trade shows that companies are attending.
We are therefore delighted to confirm the new dates for next year’s exhibition will be 14 – 15 June 2023, with 13 June as the KNX training and education day.
Stands remain available now, and as for the rest of the event, its full steam ahead with organising and providing the platform that this concept truly deserves. Taking everything into account, we felt next year would now be the optimum window for that, and we look forward to welcoming all of you in 2023 to The Passenger Terminal, Amsterdam.
