Two exciting educational sessions, including the event’s keynote presentation, were also in the spotlight for UK integrators.
D-Tools, provider of core business management software catering to the needs of the systems integration market for over 25 years, was a key exhibitor at EI Live! which took place at the Farnborough Exhibition Centre in Farnborough, UK from 18-19 September 2024.
On the exhibit floor, D-Tools showcased its award-winning business management software solutions, including its upcoming System Integrator (SI) V22 on Stand #26. Both D-Tools Cloud and D-Tools SI support more than 1,200 product brands and more than 1.5 million products via completed or upcoming software integrations with many of the UK’s leading distributors. D-Tools now offers unique dealer pricing from many of the market’s favourite distributor partners including Habitech, Invision, Pulse Cinemas, Avoke, and DbM. D-Tools is additionally in the process of adding ADI, Exertis, AWE, Northamber, Indigo and Ivory Egg. The company says it is working to bring the other distributors on board as well very soon.

Meanwhile in the EI Live! Technical Theatre, D-Tools offered valuable education to help integrators run their businesses more efficiently. First, the EI Live! keynote on Wednesday, 18 September was presented by Jason Knott, D-Tools Data Solution Architect & Evangelist, in an interactive discussion at the state of the market entitled “B.S. or Reality: What Data is Revealing About Your Business.” On Thursday, 19 September at 13:55 p.m., Jason was joined by D-Tools Konrad van Eck, Account Executive for the EMEAA, for a presentation on ‘Labour & Profit Analysis.’
D-Tools System Integrator V22 Boasts Slate of New Features
At EI Live!, integrators got a first look at the soon-to-be released D-Tools System Integrator (SI) V22, the latest update to the most the company’s business management software solution. The new innovations in D-Tools’ award-winning System Integrator V22 will include numerous additional productivity features designed to improve workflow efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and enhance the overall user experience.
Among the SI V22 features are:
- Customer Portal Enhancements, including multiple signatures & countersign and expanded notifications.
- International Pricing localized for Canada, UK, AUS/NZ.
- Gantt Chart Enhancements that include a new Successors Column to better manage task dependencies, and the ability to add lag times to tasks for more realistic scheduling and resource planning.
- Reports Improvements such as custom cover pages and more detailed scopes of work in proposals.
- Automated Resource Assignment that enables users to automatically assign resources to projects, tasks, and service orders.
- Change Order Improvements, including the ability to lock/unlock costs for added security and accuracy.
- QuickBooks Improvements that include the ability to export purchase order receipts directly to QuickBooks Online as bills.
- Mobile Install Enhancements for improved document management.
- SI Homepage Customization for setting a custom URL for quicker access to key resources.
D-Tools Promotes Insightful ‘What’s the Buzz’ Podcast Series
