AV distributor CUK Group has signed a deal to distribute the Pavone brand of cinema seating and to offer Pavone’s interior and acoustic design services to residential integrators in the UK and Ireland.

Pavone’s expertise embraces all aspects of luxury cinema design, producing cinema and media room seating, acoustic layouts and interior design services for home cinema and media rooms.

By collaborating with design houses throughout Europe on a variety of projects, Pavone’s Design Director, Steve Thorne has become an industry expert on cinema structures, seating design and acoustic technology, as well as the materials and techniques necessary to add the finishing touches to cinema and media room spaces.

Pavone’s pocket-sprung cinema seats are handcrafted, incorporating precision engineered movements and using the finest materials available to its craftsman, including Italian Napa leather, nubuck, alcantara and velvet.

The options for integrators include Stanley, which is available in a single seat recliner or a daybed recliner with console width options and proprietary carbon fibre 3D panelling.

Meanwhile, the Orson sports a unique ‘pod’ design with a seat that inclines within its own carbon fibre shell allowing complete personal immersion.

Pavone’s flexible modular media room seating is exemplified by the Lancaster sofa with multiple configurations to fit into any space. Available as a sofa of any width, the Lancaster can transform into a bespoke media sofa design with the addition of straight or wedged consoles.  Its decorative panels are supplied in standard or 3D carbon fibre and veneered marble, framed in stainless steel, while matching decorative panels give each sofa an exclusive finish.

The Niro is an individual daybed that can be extended to create a continuous arc of any width. The system has carbon fibre armrests to provide space for comfort and convenience, while the flagship Hepburn daybed comprises a large central unit that has quilted detail, flanked by two smaller daybeds separated by two wedge shaped consoles.

Each of Pavone’s material choices – alcantara, nubuck, velvet and napa leather – are available in 10 colours with a choice of upholstery styles and finishes for panels and consoles.

Extending the options further, completely bespoke seating design is offered by Pavone as part of its bespoke project services. Pavone builds to order with a typical 8-10 week delivery.

It will also be supplying a new range of accessories including lighting, tables, wall and floor coverings in the near future.

“We’re delighted to welcome Pavone to our residential portfolio,” says CUK Group MD Stuart Thomson. “Its unrivalled expertise in ‘all things cinema’ will offer our residential customers a significant head start in the complex world of high-end cinema design while adding enormous value to our product and support services.”

“We are very excited to have signed a distribution contract with CUK,” adds Ray Bohringer, Pavone’s COO. “The expertise, market knowledge and reach that Stuart and the team have will enable us to move Pavone to the next level.”

Pavone has design and display studios in Dubai, Portugal and in the UK and its seating is soon to add a sense of luxury to cinema developments at Grosvenor Estates’ Grosvenor Gardens, London, and at St John’s Wood Barracks, St John’s Wood, London.

Pavone’s furniture and accessories will also be on display at the new YDF London design store at Knightsbridge.
