Meet CUK’s CI Channel Manager Phil Roe, Group Sales Director Simon Druce, Technical Director Stuart Cunningham and MD Stuart Thomson at CUK stand 174 EI Live 23. They will be delighted to introduce a huge range of new products from CUK’s growing range of CI brands including, from ELAN, the 8.8 platform and HR-40 remote control. The HR-40 is a 3.1in high resolution touchscreen that allows users control over media, lighting, and climate, answer video doorbells, view surveillance cameras, and communicate with other interfaces using intercom.
Complementing some of the finest flush mount CI loudspeakers from FOCAL, CUK will introduce next generation discreet TV lift technology from new brand MAIOR, including the Flip 900R motorised in-ceiling TV lift. MAIOR’s advanced hidden TV lift designs for ceiling and furniture concealment provide architects, system integrators and customers with the power to reimagine environments with the greatest freedom.
Elsewhere on the CUK stand you’ll find GARVAN’s avantgarde range of speaker designs, which promises to add artful sophistication to any audio installation, says the company. On display will be the ‘Goccia’ hanging speakers and minimalistic WAE121 active subwoofer design in steel (available in its native finish or any custom colour), as well as the Italian specialist’s equally striking outdoor speaker line of in-wall/ceiling, on-wall and floor/subwoofer models, which feature a geometric design for 360-degree sound dispersion.
Then there’s SPEAKERCRAFT’s new ‘DX’ architectural speaker range conceived primarily for discreet home theatre installations, comprising the flagship ‘Grand Series’ in-wall/ceiling models with pivoting aluminium tweeters, the ‘Stage F’ series in-wall/ceilings with pivoting Silk tweeters and the Stage E in-ceilings for great sound around the home.
CUK will also be showing amplification solutions from POWERSOFT, including the Mezzo Series of ½ rack install amplifiers, available with a state-of-the-art DSP, in 320W and 600W power sizes with 2 or 4 channels of output. AD versions of Mezzo add audio networking capabilities with Dante/AES67 and an internal Gigabit Ethernet switch with a second port, so that multiple products can share the same network. All models offer multiple analogue input options, and the two-channel versions feature line-level outputs. In addition, and for the first time at any UK tradeshow, CUK will introduce POWERSOFT’s new UNICA platform of three four-channel models and three eight-channel models, featuring high power capabilities, high quality amplification, advanced DSP capabilities, and an intuitive user interface which includes cloud monitoring.
Joining these brands will be power conditioners/sequencers from FURMAN’s CI and ProAV line-up, as well as cabling and fibre solutions from PROCAB – including the 8K capable fibre products – and new to CUK’s expanding resi brand stable, VSSL’s audio streaming amplifiers in six, three and single zone ‘X’ range versions, with ‘SX’ range models imminent. They allow users to stream music without interruption and in high quality to home speakers directly from music apps using Airplay2, Spotify Connect, Chromecast built-in or Alexa Cast. Voice control is also possible through Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant.
