Daniel J SaitCEDIA is supporting its members in developing their integration businesses by introducing a brand-new workshop that focusses on profitability, recruitment, and talent retention. Hosted at The Lutron Experience Centre in London on November 23, the ‘Growing Your Integration Business’ Workshop will see to business experts provide attendees with a toolkit of resources to help implement key changes in their business as it grows and evolves.
“Building a business and attracting talent is tough and has had additional challenges in the last couple of years,” comments Wendy Griffiths, Vice President of Membership & Global Development. “The Growing Your Integration Business event can help many of our brilliant, hard-working members learn strategies to overcome these challenges in their businesses.”
Leslie Shiner, owner of The Shiner Group, a consulting firm helping systems integrators gain financial control, will be returning to the UK to present two sessions throughout the day. She has previously run education sessions for CEDIA which have always proved extremely popular, says the organisation. Leslie will be joined by Mina Machacek, who has 20+ years’ experience in the AV recruitment industry. CEDIA says Mina’s in-depth knowledge, experience, and capacity to problem solve sets her apart as both a recruitment leader and business entrepreneur.
This one-day event will run from 9am – 4pm and will include three presentations designed to support owners and decision-makers in growing UK integration businesses. Attendees can expect to receive guidance on important operational and commercial topics from Leslie and Mina, who will be sharing best practices, coping strategies and tips for success.
