Peerless-AV has revealed new versions of its Delta Professional and Slimline HDMI cables, with the company hoping to address the connectivity requirements of custom installers and integrators for 4K signal integrity along longer cable lengths.

The Delta Professional DEB-HD10 High Speed HMDI Cable with Ethernet offers a 10m (32.8ft) cable run, which is designed for residential and commercial installations where the TV and source devices are separated.

The cable supports 4K UltraHD resolutions up to 60fps and is compliant with the latest HDMI 2.0 requirements, ensuring a minimum of 18Gbps data speeds.

Also included with the DEB-HD10 is an active booster, designed to maintain pure signal quality along the 10m cable length.

Alongside the DEB-HD10, Peerless-AV has also enhanced its Slimline High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet line-up with a flexible 4mm diameter ‘micocable’ design.

Peerless-AV says that this design makes its latest line-up the most compact cables on the market, without sacrificing performance when compared to a typical 8mm HDMI cable.

Both SL-HD02 (2m) and SL-HD05 (5m) Slimline cables are capable of carrying UltraHD image resolutions at 60fps, 32-channel audio, Dual View, 21:9 aspect ratios and YCbCR 4:2:0 colour spaces.

Like the DEB-HD10 cable, the SL-HD05 cable features an integral self-powered signal repeater that delivers uninterrupted performance over the entirety of the 5m (16.4ft) cable length.

Peerless-AV says that all Delta Professional and Slimline HDMI cables use high quality materials such as PCOFC (Pure Crystal Oxygen Free Copper) conductors for optimal protection against interference or distortion.

The 24k hard gold-plated contacts also claim to offer improved signal transfer and extended contact durability.

“Our revamped connectivity range is the result of diligent attention to detail; working to bring to market products that are better attuned to the needs of today’s custom installer,” notes Alex Salzmann, national sales manager, UK consumer division, BBG.
