Chord Company will showcase a range of practical upgrade options for everyday Hi-Fi systems at the StereoNET Hi-Fi & AV Expo London, taking place at the Radisson RED Hotel, Heathrow, from September 12–13.
Located in the Garros Suite at the Hi-Fi & AV Expo, the Wiltshire-based AV cable specialist will host scheduled listening sessions designed to demonstrate the impact of its conductor, shielding and plating technologies across a range of system levels.
The demonstrations will also explore Chord Company’s ARAY noise-reduction technology and its PowerHAUS P6 power distribution block, alongside digital noise-isolation products from sister brand English Electric, including the EE1 inline noise isolator and EE 8Switch network switch.
At the heart of the sessions will be what Chord Company describes as a ‘real world’ Hi-Fi system, comprising a Cambridge Audio CXN100 network music streamer, CXA81 MkII integrated amplifier and Acoustic Energy AE309-2 loudspeakers.
Visitors will be able to hear upgrades spanning Chord Company’s entry-level C-series through to its Epic range, providing an opportunity to assess how changes to cabling, power distribution and network noise isolation can affect a system built around relatively attainable components.
Chord Company factory specialists will be available throughout the weekend to offer system-specific advice and help visitors identify potential upgrades for their own home systems, regardless of format or budget.
Visitors attending the demonstration sessions will also be able to enter a show competition to win a pair of Shawline RCA analogue interconnects, worth £360, and a limited-edition Chord Company T-shirt.
