Jordan O'BrienBang & Olufsen is bringing Google Cast to its line-up of all-in-one wireless music systems, with the BeoSound 35 and BeoSound Essence both gaining support.
The Wi-Fi based Google Cast technology lets users enjoy entertainment streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer and TuneIn directly casted to the network speaker.
Users can simply tap the Cast button on their favourite mobile music app to start playing music on either the BeoSound 35 or BeoSound Essence.
Google Cast enables users to enjoy their music directly from the cloud instead of music playing from local storage on their device.
Bang & Olufsen says that by using Google Cast everybody is a DJ, where ease of use and great sound quality gives the consumer an optimal music experience.
Google Cast will be available via a software update at the end of June and will be prompted directly to existing customers.
Beside Google Cast, Bang & Olufsen products support Apple AirPlay, DLNA, Bluetooth and BeoLink Multiroom, making it possible to choose between various streaming technologies.
