Prove your humanity

Seymour-Screen Excellence, StormAudio, ASCENDO, Christie, madVR Labs, Panamorph, Moovia and Simplified Acoustics are joining forces to present a state-of-the-art 14.18.10 home cinema demo at CEDIA Expo 2025. This exclusive showcase offers attendees the rare chance to experience a USD $1 million luxury home cinema.

Seymour-Screen Excellence is showing its multi-format retractable (MFR) film screen system for the first time at a CEDIA Expo. Optimised for the brand’s Enlightor-NEO reference acoustically transparent film screen surface, MFR is the only retractable on the market to incorporate deep velvet borders, concealed tab tensioning, motorised masking with integrated black backing and no minimum required seating distance. It will be presented at 15-feet (diagonal measurement) in 2.40 complete with retractable 16:9 masking. The MSRP is $14,610 (MFR and Controls).

Making its debut is the new Christie Eclipse G3 projector. The next generation of Christie’s unique 6DLP projection technology, Eclipse G3 will illuminate the screen with a degree of detail and with what the brands promises to be a “depth of colour never seen before”.

Eclipse G3 produces 30,000 ANSI lumens and colour that reaches approximately 98% of the Rec. 2020 colour space. It delivers true HDR performance with up to 200 times more contrast than the Rec. 2100 specification, producing the deepest blacks and up to a 20-million-to-1 contrast ratio. It has a MSRP of $400,000.

Video processing will be managed by the madVR Envy Extreme 8. As told by madVR Labs Co-founder & CEO Richard Litofsky, the processor offers best-in-class voted HDR tone mapping, 8K AI upscaling, instant aspect ratio handling, direct control of screen masking and MotionAI. This has a MSRP of $15,995.

Panamorph will be showcasing its new flagship Alpha Pro anamorphic lens for significantly enhanced brightness and detail from today’s high-end projection system.

“We’ve been getting a lot of dealer interest in a lens specifically made for ultra-high-end installations,” says Shawn Kelly, Panamorph’s CEO. “And that combined with dramatically increasing client interest in the cinema format is helping projection dealers differentiate against increasing 16:9 flat panel sizes while preserving excellent margins.” This has a MSRP of $19,985.

StormAudio will showcase its CEDIA award-winning Elite 32 Digital AoIP processor, which will manage all system processing (and calibration) of the 14.18.10 immersive audio demonstration. Calibration will be performed in collaboration with ASCENDO, using a combination of manual tools and Dirac Live’s exclusive Active Room Treatment (ART) technology. The MSRP is $29,499.

ASCENDO will debut HALO, its new loudspeaker design, employed as screen channels. “The entire speaker system will demonstrate the unique advantages of professional-grade coaxial designs, delivering consistent timing and response symmetry to each of the 12 luxury Moovia seats. And, ASCENDO will demonstrate their new 64in infrasonic subwoofer model for the first time at Expo, two of them, in fact,” says ASCENDO owner Geoffrey Heinzel.

During each demo session, the Seymour-Screen Excellence MFR film screen will retract to the ceiling, revealing an array of ASCENDO subs and LCRs. The total MSRP for the ASCENDO speakers, subs and electronics is $716,050.

Simplified Acoustics will manage room acoustics. Utilised will be the company’s new BDP acoustic panel. “This uses a new formula of Binary Amplitude Diffusion over an absorptive panel that is more effective to off access waves than a traditional binary amplitude panel,” says Simplified Acoustics COO Matt Call. The MSRP is $5,400.

German seating manufacturer Moovia is featuring three rows of its luxury MARBELLA sofa model in Italian wool with Walnut trim. Moovia CEO Frank Dlugos says, “We are excited to partner with this incredible group. We believe our MARBELLA seating will do its part in contributing to the entire luxury theatre experience.” The MSRP is $120,000.

Throughout the three-day event, company experts will be on hand to provide in-depth insights and engage with attendees of the SR7 demo. This includes Seymour-Screen Excellence (Chris Seymour, Evan Zerby); StormAudio (Olivier Thumerel, Sébastien Gailleton, Gary Blouse, Matthew Trinklein); ASCENDO (Geoffrey Heinzel and Todd Sutherland); madVR Labs (Richard Litofsky); Panamorph (Shawn Kelly); Moovia (Frank Dlugos, Todd Sutherland); Christie (Doug Boyer) and Simplified Acoustics (Matt Call).

A private media-only press event is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 5 (Day 2), 8 AM, at SR7.
