Invision hosted its second Immersive Audio event of the year at Dolby’s European HQ in London recently.
Over 50 installers attended and heard presentations from three key Invision cinema brands: Trinnov Audio on speaker placement, Artnovion on room acoustic treatments, Procella Audio on professional grade home cinema, look out for a really tasty case study from this brand in the near future on this website.
Further presentations were then delivered by Guy Singleton showcasing the recently acquired CEDIA Designer software which now features all of the brands that were being discussed at the event.
Jan Anderson of Procella Audio also gave an engaging talk on the strengths of the brand. A man with an impressive audio based CV, Jan is always good value and has huge enthusiasm for home cinema.
Rob Francefrom Dolby also presented to dealers on Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and showedstunning content using both technologies.
The day finished with a Q and A with all presenters allowing installers the chance to quiz them on future developments for residential cinema.
Consensus from many of the experts gathered, normal industry challenges notwithstanding, was that there have been few better times to be selling high-quality home cinema, with awareness and product ability reaching a very useful zenith right now.
