Vimar’s Eikon Exé wiring accessories have been selected for Katara Towers in Lusail City, Qatar, bringing sophisticated design and advanced technology to the luxury Fairmont and Raffles Doha hotels.
Located north of Doha, in the Marina District of Lusail City, Katara Towers represent one of the most iconic expressions of luxury hospitality. Developed with rigorous symmetry, the complex houses two of the Accor Group’s most prestigious hotel brands: Fairmont and Raffles Doha.
Designed by the architectural firm Dar Al-Handasah, the 211-metre-high towers reinterpret the two crossed scimitars from Qatar’s national emblem through a dramatic crescent-shaped structure. It is a project that blends the country’s cultural heritage with a future-oriented architectural vision.
On the lower floors of the podium connecting the two hotels lie the majestic entrance hall, Katara Hall (one of the largest ballrooms in the country), and the Fairmont lobby, adorned with a cascading crystal chandelier measuring 56.5 metres in height.
Rising above these communal areas within the two towers are Fairmont and Raffles Doha, both spanning 36 levels and overlooking the Persian Gulf. Inspired by modern luxury yacht design, with sleek silhouettes, innovative materials and spacious, light-filled environments, Fairmont Doha offers 362 rooms and suites tailored for a dynamic clientele seeking well-being, entertainment and exclusive experiences.
Renowned for its interiors inspired by royal palaces, Raffles Doha, by contrast, welcomes guests to 132 exclusive suites designed to deliver the pinnacle of privacy, comfort and customisation.
Vimar technology was chosen to combine style, functionality and innovation. Available in a range of premium materials and finishes, the Eikon Exé series brings together technological precision and craftsmanship. Selected in a brushed nickel finish for Katara Towers, its sophisticated texture enhances the richness of the surrounding surfaces, complementing each space with elegance and refinement.
With over 200 functions available across international product standards and with its different control options including traditional, Vintage, Flat and Tondo (the latter recently honoured with the Compasso d’Oro International Award), Eikon Exé can offer numerous solutions for system customisation.
Within the exclusive setting of Fairmont and Raffles Doha, Vimar technology creates user-friendly, comfortable spaces in keeping with the exacting standards of one of the most prestigious destinations on the international hospitality scene.
