Nilaya Anthology by Asian Paints in Mumbai is an award-winning installation developed with Munro Acoustics and ISSPL which showcases how SoundTube’s Dante-enabled in-ceiling, surface-mount and outdoor speakers helped create an immersive, multi-zone audio experience across concept galleries and landscaped courtyards without compromising design aesthetics.
Nilaya Anthology is a design destination in the heart of Mumbai, where architects, professionals and design lovers immerse themselves in creativity. From concept rooms to cultural showcases, every detail was crafted to inspire. For this project, sound was not an afterthought. It was central to how visitors would experience the space.
To achieve the right balance between atmosphere and engagement, consultant Munro Acoustics, in partnership with integrator Innovative Systems & Solutions (P) Ltd. (ISSPL), designed a system that could flex between two modes: delivering ambient music to set the mood and providing clear, localised audio for video displays. The system also had to blend into the architecture and connect seamlessly across multiple zones.
“We knew audio had to work as a layer of design here. It could not just be functional,” says Utkarsh Naidu, TechFlow Consultant, Munro Acoustics. “SoundTube stood out because the speakers disappear visually but make the space come alive sonically. That balance was exactly what Nilaya Anthology needed.”

From the early design stages, SoundTube Entertainment products were written into the project. The installation combined in-ceiling, surface-mount and landscape speakers, all supported by SoundTube’s Dante-enabled IPD line for audio over Ethernet distribution.
The installation featured a wide range of products to deliver both indoor and outdoor audio. A total of 92 CM42-EZS-II in-ceiling speakers were installed, along with two SM31-EZ surface-mount speakers and three CM52-BGM-II-WH in-ceiling speakers. The system also included two IPD4-CM52-BGM-II-WH Dante-enabled in-ceiling speakers and five GR-CM-BGM-II-BK in-ceiling speakers in black.
To power and control the setup, 30 IPD-HUB2 PoE-enabled DSP amplifiers, 26 RVC remote volume controls and four IPD-EXT BOX units were deployed. For outdoor coverage, eight Rockustics OmniPlanter 8.0-GG speakers were added, ensuring high-quality sound across all areas.
At the core of the installation, the IPD-Hub2 and IPD-EXT BOX extended Dante and PoE connectivity across zones. This allowed audio sources to be routed over Ethernet with minimal cabling, while ensuring synchronised and flexible audio distribution. Integrated with Q-SYS processors, the system handled both music and video audio streams, with local adjustments made through SoundTube RVC controls.
Inside the galleries, CM42-EZS-II ceiling speakers delivered smooth, evenly distributed audio that blended seamlessly into the architecture. Outdoors, the Rockustics OmniPlanter 8.0-GG units doubled as planters while delivering natural, high-quality sound across landscaped courtyards.
“The Rockustics OmniPlanters were a favourite. Clients loved that they looked like part of the garden, but still projected audio beautifully,” says Utkarsh. “SoundTube really understands that in a design-driven project, aesthetics and performance have to go hand in hand.”

The final installation created a sonic journey through Nilaya Anthology. Visitors move from one space to another with sound that shifts effortlessly, from ambient music in some areas to video playback in others, extending naturally into outdoor courtyards.
“What I love most is how natural it feels,” Utkarsh shares. “The technology is sophisticated, but visitors do not notice the system. They notice the experience. That’s when you know audio is doing its job.”
Asian Paints praised the outcome, noting how immersive audio enhances the cultural and creative intent of Nilaya Anthology. SoundTube delivered reliable Dante-enabled performance and seamless design integration, becoming an invisible partner in the storytelling of the space.
The project received the Retail Category Award at the 2025 InAVate APAC Awards and also earned a 2025 Systems Integration India award in the hospitality category, recognising the strong collaboration between Munro Acoustics and ISSPL, a trusted AVSI partner.
