The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, London, has recently installed a Wharfedale Pro WLA-1A System as part of a new audio upgrade. The project was delivered in partnership with Stage Concepts, following a successful on-site demonstration of the WLA-1A System in November 2024.
Part of Royal Museums Greenwich, the National Maritime Museum is one of the world’s leading centres for maritime history and heritage, hosting a wide range of public and corporate events across its historic site.
Following the demonstration, the museum’s team agreed that the WLA-1A System was the perfect fit for their requirements. The final installation includes 14 WLA-112A / WLA-115As, two WLA-121SUBAs and eight WLA-1 Common Fly Frames.

The system is now permanently installed within the museum’s new event space and is being used for corporate functions and various activities across the grounds.
