Miro equips HQ with Sony display technology

Miro, the AI-powered visual collaboration platform with more than 60 million users worldwide, has equipped its new 10,000-square-metre modular and flexible office in the Netherlands with Sony display technology to enhance global teamwork.

The installation, delivered by AV integrator Windside Digital, includes more than 40 Sony BRAVIA Professional Displays across meeting rooms and a flagship Sony Crystal LED (CLED) display in the building’s café and event space. The project reflects Miro’s mission to create innovative and inspiring workplaces designed to support creativity and collaboration across international teams.

Windside Digital installed 40 Sony BRAVIA Professional Displays across more than 40 meeting rooms, featuring models from the BZ40L and BZ30L series in sizes from 50 to 75 inches. The displays deliver 4K HDR picture quality, Pro Mode for flexible configuration, and seamless integration with leading conferencing solutions.

A key factor in Miro’s decision was Sony’s Deep Black Non-Glare (DBNG) technology, available on the BZ40L and BZ53L series. This ensures vivid, high-contrast images even in bright rooms with glass walls, offering clear visuals without reflections. For a company focused on communication and creativity, this visual clarity was considered essential.

In daily use, the BRAVIA displays enable video conferencing, collaborative whiteboarding, and presentations with international colleagues, ensuring that distributed teams remain fully connected.

At the heart of the new headquarters is a large Sony CLED display from the CH Series, mounted in a Flexible Stand configuration within the café and social area. With its ultra-fine pixel pitch, wide colour gamut, and exceptional brightness, the CLED serves as a focal point for company-wide events, live broadcasts, and presentations.

“The Miro office is designed to be dynamic and flexible, and Windside Digital advised us to use Sony’s BRAVIA technology as this fits all Miro requirements perfectly: non-glare, high-bright and remotely manageable,” says Wilco Poppelier, Workplace Strategy and Projects at Miro. “The Crystal LED installation sprang out when comparing the design of this Sony stand and the screen quality with other vendors in the market.”

While DBNG performance was the main deciding factor, sustainability also played an important role. Sony’s professional display portfolio includes energy-saving features such as automatic light sensors and efficient power management, and many BRAVIA models use SORPLAS™ recycled plastic to reduce environmental impact.

These credentials aligned with Miro’s broader corporate values. “At Miro, we believe that the spaces people work in should be just as innovative as the tools they use,” adds Poppelier. “Sony’s displays help us bring that vision to life—whether it’s connecting with colleagues worldwide or inspiring teams during live events. Knowing that the displays also support sustainable practices was a crucial benefit.”

Windside Digital managed the design, integration, and delivery across the site. The company combines technical expertise with creative, high-impact visual experiences, ensuring pixel-perfect results and measurable improvements in visibility and communication. From demonstrations at ISE to on-site workshops, the collaboration was guided by a spirit of co-creation, ensuring that the technology delivered immediate value for Miro’s teams.

“Miro is a company that thrives on creativity and innovation, and we are proud to support them with display solutions that reflect those values,” says Petra Norinder, Regional Trade Marketing Manager at Sony Europe. “Our close work with Windside Digital ensured that the installation matched Miro’s ambitious workplace vision. Together, we are showing how technology can create inspiring, collaborative spaces while contributing to smarter and more responsible operations.”

For Miro, adopting Sony display technology is more than a facilities upgrade—it is a strategic move in shaping the future of work. By combining a modular office environment with advanced display solutions, Miro equips its employees with the tools and spaces they need to innovate and collaborate in a hybrid-first world.
