Dynamo LED Displays has installed a 24 m² COB LED video wall in the lobby of Hotel Londres in Caracas, Venezuela, creating a large-scale feature wall designed to deliver a high-impact visual experience within the hospitality space.
The installation measures 8 m × 3 m and comprises 96 cabinets, forming a seamless display with a total resolution of 4,096 × 1,536 pixels (approximately 6.3 megapixels), exceeding standard 4K resolution in width. The system is built using DX Series P1.9 mm COB (Chip-on-Board) LED panels, supplied from London and installed on-site by a three-person engineering team.

A key feature of the project is the installation method, with the DX Series cabinets mounted directly onto an MDF wall surface without the need for a supporting steel framework. According to the project team, this significantly reduced installation complexity and time.
The full installation and commissioning were completed in just 2.5 days, covering design coordination, physical installation and system setup. The display is powered by a NovaStar VX2000 processor, with iPad-based content scheduling enabling flexible control of on-screen media.
Content displayed on the wall features Venezuelan landmarks, with the intention of connecting hotel guests to local culture through dynamic visual storytelling.

The project also presented a significant international logistics challenge, with Venezuelan customs requiring detailed documentation down to individual diode level to clear the shipment.
Dynamo noted that the installation highlights several key advantages of its DX Series platform, including rapid deployment capability, structural flexibility through no-framework mounting and the growing adoption of COB technology in hospitality environments, where durability and high visual performance are increasingly important.
