Biamp has completed the deployment of a comprehensive audio system at One & Only Kéa Island, the luxury resort on the Greek island of Kéa. The installation combines high-performance audio with a discreet design, offering independent, multi-zone sound control across a variety of indoor and outdoor guest areas.
The resort sought a flexible, future-ready audio system capable of supporting diverse environments, from serene spa zones to lively social spaces, while maintaining aesthetic integrity. The solution also needed to be easy for staff to operate and simple to manage across multiple zones.

At the heart of the installation is a distributed, multi-zone Audio-over-IP architecture based on the Dante protocol, enabling reliable digital audio transport across the resort’s fibre- and copper-based network. The Tesira digital signal processing platform provides centralised control, while supporting decentralised amplification and processing for scalability and future expansion.
Discreet Desono loudspeakers deliver balanced, high-quality sound throughout the property, blending seamlessly into the resort’s architecture. With an IP64 rating, the loudspeakers perform consistently in both indoor and outdoor spaces. Apprimo touch panels provide intuitive control, allowing staff to manage audio sources and volume levels across different zones with ease.
The system supports independent audio streams for individual areas, creating tailored soundscapes for the lobby, spa, pool, and dining venues. Live audio sources, including microphones and Bluetooth inputs, can be shared across zones, while paging and emergency announcements are prioritised to ensure clear communication.
By integrating networked audio distribution, flexible DSP, and discreet loudspeaker design, Biamp has delivered a refined, immersive audio experience that enhances the guest journey while improving operational efficiency at One & Only Kéa Island.
